The play, “THIS LOVE IS REAL,” is a story of a man and a woman who find themselves at the end of a long, hard life, incarcerated and without hope. A man a woman who have finally come to the end of themselves. A story that triumphs in the saving grace of God. A story that reminds us of the relentless and steadfast love of the Lord.
"The steadfast love of the Lᴏʀᴅ never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Trucha
Trucha, a play about a family broken by the ways of the barrio. A family broken by death. And yet, out of this brokenness and death comes life. A familiar story, a familiar way of life for those in the calles. A story of finding light in the midst of darkness, life in the midst of death. A story that reminds us, there’s more to life and death than what we can see.

The Duke of Earl
Nathaniel asked, in reference to Jesus, "Can anything good come from Nazareth?"
And Phillip said, "COME AND SEE." (John 1:46)

The Lord did a mighty work in San Bernardino! We were blessed to have a tremendous amount of support, as many of our brothers and sisters came out to serve the gente at Placita Park. We were able to hand out 250+ hot dogs, chips, and drinks. As you can see by the pictures, God provided abundantly through the donations of other ministries- Bibles, devotionals, children's books, and many other reading materials. We were able to pray with countless individuals, hand out Bibles, and minister to many of the gente on the west side by showing them the love of Jesus. Even 33 years after the making of the Duke Of Earl, God is still using it to minister to the hearts and souls of the lost. We praise God for the work that took place at Placita Park, it is a testimony of His mighty hand. We are humbled by the love and support of our brothers and sisters and realize that what occurred was only by the hand of God.

There's a lot of forgotten people in this world. A lot of forgotten places in this world. And San Bernardino is one one of them. The beauty of the barrio has been lost in the plight of the people...drugs, prostitution, suicide, and the gang life. In fact, to date, San Bernardino is one of the leading sex trafficking hubs in the United States. Perverting and ruining the lives of young children and broken women. San Bernardino is dying a slow and hopeless death. It is a despised place. A city long forgotten. And yet, Christ Himself was also from a place that people despised, a place that appeared to be spiritually dead and without hope. Nathaniel asked, in reference to Jesus, "Can anything good come from Nazareth?" And Phillip said, "COME AND SEE." (John 1:46)
In the second poorest city in the United States, only second to Detroit, lies a barrio where people have lost hope, neighborhoods that have been ravaged by loss and ruin. And yet, even from ashes, God has made it very evident to us that the gente can rise again, from death, very death, into life...
October 16th will mark our ten year wedding anniversary. And as most celebrate with lavish gifts and trips, God has placed it on our hearts to give back. To give back to the barrios that have lost all hope, to a community in need. As we think back to the last ten years and where God has brought us from we stand in awe of all that The Lord has done in our lives and in our marriage. Our heart's desire is to share this very love, this very hope, with others. To proclaim all that He has done in us and for us as a testimony that God truly is real. He is living and He is active. He is not dead, but still very much alive. His desire is to meet us where we are at and to save us. The work of the cross was not futile, it was real and it was powerful. And Saturday October 18th will be a testimony of this very power.
And so it is, with humble hearts, that we invite you to join in our celebration, a service to the gente, an outreach to the neighborhood, and a testimony of all that God has done in our lives. We invite you, as did Phillip, to
